Anyone have any experience with this company or there work? I took a gamble on buying what i thought was a decent car and after blasting it and getting an estimate from a body shop, it looks like i lost my ass on that gamble. Now I am looking at purchasing a finished rolling body from Restored Classic Bodies out of kansas city. (http://www.restoredclassicbodies.com Thanks in advance for any input.

Jimmy

I live in KC and have been in and around the classic muscle car scene for 20 years...and I've never heard of them before.

I'll ask around a bit and see what I can find out.

Used to be known as Mizfit and they used to be on this site years ago. Do not know why the name change.

I'd be interested to hear about these guys as well.

The link posted in the top post doesn't work for me. I found this one. Apparently Mizfit is now the parent company, and only did engines. RCB does it all. Check it out...

They have a video of their process on the web site. Sounds like you could have them refurbish your body.

On their about page I like the fact that three of the techs are WyoTech graduates and one from Salina Tech which I also know is a good school.

Yeah. website looks great. But no answer to emails or phone. Facebook page last entry was 2013. Just wondering if they are even in operation anymore?

These guys can take the car you have and re body it, they've been around for a long time. They build it on a jig and spot weld it just like GM did. http://www.amdinstallation.com/

I don't know anything about the place (restored classics) - but looking at their pricing.... I don't know how anyone could buy a body - buy the panels - do the work and put it out for that low of a price...

AMD is a good known business - that simply provides you with an estimate for their work. That's the direction I'd be going!

The fact that the last facebook post was over 2.5 years ago does not give me any confidence. I think I would be contacting the AMD Installation Center.
