Thinking of upgrading my 69 Camaro suspension from Hotchkis 3 inch drop springs and Ridetech adjustable shocks to coil overs and a Quadralink system. What kind of ride can I expect with the proposed set-up ? Is this more of a race/show set up, or can I still take the car on road trips and be comfortable with the ride ? Thoughts ?

The ride will depend entirely on how you set it up. Spring rate and shock valving to match your intended usage will be the key. The beauty of coilovers is the adjustability and tuning capability. Just know that the same setup for road course handling is not going to be ideal for road trip cruising.

theres a convertible 69 all dse out and I'm telling you the ride quality was very good. The car is quite and smooth. I would say its pretty much like riding in a c5 corvette

You will be very satisfied with the ride,my car rides great. My last car had 3" drop Hotchkis rear springs and coil overs in the front and was no better at all.

Ride quality will vary some will seat quality and shock settings, but its best described like riding in a new C6 vette. The quadralink comes with shocks so if you buy Ridetech shocks you will be buying shocks twice.
