Hi the vent windows on my 67 could use a rechrome.

Anyone use the reproduction ones?

Anyone know a good chrome company? Getting mixed reviews on Ogden

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't those polished stainless steel not chrome?

I'm assuming he means the triangular chrome plated pot metal piece that makeup the forward, and lower frame of the vent window. The rear channel is a screw/rivet on stainless piece, and the vent window frame is stainless. If it is the pot metal piece, just from personal experience with anything else original versus repop, if the originals aren't too pitted I would most definitely replate those, especially with the complexity of how they mount. I've gotten to have the mindset that even if the chrome plate is more money, I'll restore my originals instead of buying repop... if not for the simple fact that the car lives on with original GM pieces rather that something probably cast in Taiwan.

Yes those are the pieces, that was my feeling to.. and I like you want to keep as many of those old Detroit pieces on the car for the same reason as you...
I got a lead on a plating company in Lawrence MA that I am going to check out. http://www.americanelectroplatingco.com/
