I love the show but 10k for a wreck? I think he might think his "celebrity" status might get him the money. I feel bad he wrecked it but that's the chance we all take with these cars. If you don't have money for Dr. bills building another car would be the least of my worries.

Agreed I don't like rewarding irresponsibility and building a six figure race car when you have a family and no health insurance qualifies as irresponsible to me .... :badidea:

Just goes to show you that people will buy anything. Can't blame the guy for trying to raise money that way though. :G-Dub:

I say good for him. Heck ya capitalize off his TV fame, I know I would if I were him. I'm sure his hospital bills alone would take at least a few of those $10k shells to cover. Kind of like that crushed Iron Man Cobra kit car that sold for big money at Barrett-Jackson, another worthless decoration, but people like to buy that stuff.

in his defense he started the bid at $200 so its not his fault. People just love popular crap. :peepwall:

It's the buyer paying that much to help I guess, maybe a friend or he's really into the show.

According to ebay the chassis sold for $12,151.00. I would not pay that but if the buyer is happy I guess that is all that matters.
BTW, anyone know when the new season of Street Outlaws begins?
