Today the car is pronounced finished. I have to tidy up a couple wires under the hood but finished.

Took it out today for about a 20 mile drive. Runs Perfect and handles extremely nice.

Love the car.

Or was that for "someones" sake? If so, we all understand (wink wink).

Looks awesome! Love LeMans blue/ white stripes!

Paint Code 23 (the color code the painter left in the car) is Bright Metallic Blue or Nassau Blue. Jetstream is #85 which is very close if not the same.:thankyou:

Wait, finished? You just gonna drive it with that big hole in the door? :sarcasm_smiley: Haha just kidding! I say that because I am going to be the same way. I had to purchase another bullet mirror to get painted because the first one "malfunctioned". :hairpullout:

This build is astonishing! :trophy-1302:
I like the stripes too. It is just enough mix of stock meets modern, exactly what "Protouring style" is. ...and I am partial to blue, so...

Go enjoy that thing, Bud. I will not be far behind you. If only our heat index would drop from 110 degrees I'll get mine finished.

Nice job. Hey, I thought you were thinking about an early C3 Corvette at one time? How's the LS3 combo feel compared to the aluminum big block?

Well, it was sure supposed to be Jetstream Blue, that was Dons pick, and what they agreed to. Regardless, it turned out great, Congrats John.

Car looks amazing! Very nice work.
That blue just looks perfect on your car.

What brackets did you use for the high mount alternator and A/C compressor?
I'm having a hard time figuring out what to use.
Your setup looks so clean. I like it.

do you like the 2 1/2" or would have rather had 3" . Thats my dilemma now

I see no reason for 3" unless you're running WOT all the time or serious tracking the car.

2 1/2" with a X is perfect IMO and fits way better then trying to cram in 3"

Looks awesome. I miss my 69 so really cool to see you enjoying yours and driving it. The TMI seats look terrific in your interior. Not too custom which would take away from your clean design. I look forward to seeing more posts of you enjoying the car. :popcorn2:
