Wow. Someone got a bargain. It is a little dated but I would not give a dayum. Good thing I didn't know it was for sale...

Yeah - during his hiatus from GM. I didn't know that for a long time either...can't remember where I read about it. It actually may have been on a feature on this site that talked about Mark's career etc.....

He did know, and I'm shocked that he didn't buy it at that price. I know he preferred the original paint before the re-do, but damn, that was a steal at that price.

Cool car but nothing I need. Still trying to sell my 32 and I like mine better.

Blast from the past! I think I saw that car upstairs at the Seattle Roadster Show in 1999-2000.

Yep! It was a NorthWET car!

"Stacked" is it's name IIRC

you know i think that's the best ebay ad i've seen in the honesty of the condition of the car. pictures of every blemish. would be nice to see all ads like that.

From 1994ish time frame.

Car was reworked a few times. The first version was a manual 6 speed.

As it should have stayed.

Still one of my all-time favorites of all the neat stuff you've done, Mark.
I bet there are some good stories of the development and build of that car.

Mark, what cylinder heads are those in the first picture you posted?
I relentlessly followed this build back in the day, although back then I didn't know much about who you were.

The heads were splayed valve heads. Because it was a Summit car we had to swap the heads to Trick flow heads.

I thought so. Thanks for the reply, Mark.

Being able to buy that car is/was a great opportunity for somebody!
I didn't realize either that Mark was a builder on that car. That's cool that you shared those old pics Mark. Good stuff.
