I'm sure like many of you, things just never seem to go easy. You buy car parts that are "bolt-on" and always have to fight and modify them to work. Same thing with life...tasks that should take an hour take up four because of dumb things.

Right now I'm in the middle of a complete gut job on my master bathroom. Got the shower fixtures installed, looks killer....but only has 100% cold water, or 100% hot water. Pissed me off, so I've ignored it for a few weeks while finishing up the rest of the bathroom.

Today I decided to tackle it. Normally I would have pulled it all apart, seen nothing wrong, and started googling. For whatever reason(probably since I'm not a plumber), I decided to call Delta first. The lady said "the cartridge is in upside down." Five minutes later, it's all fixed.

The easy wins are few and far between for me. I'll take it. Plus now the wife will be happy! Off to a good start on Thursday.

Delta has GREAT customer service!
My neighbor had a 10+ year old faucet that the copper fitting started leaking where it entered the faucet. The soldered (or brazed) joint cracked.
They happily sent him a whole new faucet! ("Buy it for looks; buy it for life").

I wonder how many times a day they get your same question? No brainer for THEM!

I've always said only buy delta....i worked at a hardware store all through high school I pushed delta product like no bodies business. Simple to replace a cartridge when you need to. Sure beats some other manufacturers out there

Ummm...the buy it for looks, buy it for life slogan belongs to Moen.
I'm a Delta all the way guy myself, and I've put the stupid cartridge in upside down before, after re-o-ringing my valves. As a matter of fact, I need to rebuild my wife's sink faucet, right now.
