If you haven't heard the buzz yet, Speedtech Performance has pulled out all the stops in moving forward on a quest after the best suspension geometry on the market. Teamed up with Ron Sutton we've conquered the challenge to develop an industry first suspension that works fantastically in low, mid, and high travel strategies, and has killer geometry numbers across the board. Intended to push the Pro Touring world to the next level, this suspension is designed to allow up to 315mm tires up front and takes full advantage of that huge contact patch! Check out this official press release copied below, and feel free to ask any questions, we and Ron are happy to share more insight and specifics...

"Looking for the Best of the Best? Search no longer! Through years of street and track testing our products, Speedtech Performance has taken all we've learned and invited veteran road race chassis builder Ron Sutton to join in creating a totally new, hardcore Pro Touring suspension. The exciting result is our new line of "ExtReme" chassis products.

Using the latest in computer simulation, all aspects of this suspension's geometry were calculated and tested until the best possible numbers were achieved. Said Ron, "This design makes this the best handling, steering & driving suspension available, an upgrade from frankly any chassis or subframe in the Pro Touring market today.”

Featuring an industry first, we've achieved optimum roll center for low, mid and high travel strategies. Our frame's rack location and new ATS forged-in-the-USA ExtReme tall spindle provide optimum Ackerman with up to 30 degrees of steering angle using 315 mm wide tires! This combination provides reduced KPI/SAI angle, significantly less scrub radius, achieves optimum tire slip-angles, requires less caster for optimum tire contact patch and increases front tire grip up to 20%. Increased shock length has 0.78 motion ratio for faster response, precise control and more suspension travel with virtually ZERO bump steer - .005” throughout full travel range!

What does this all mean to you? Whether you're on the street or at the track, you'll have a better handling and better riding vehicle than has ever been achieved before. Production of the C10 chassis is ready to go and the Chevelle, Camaro, Nova, and Tri 5's are right behind. Ben, I've laid down my $$$ for a Camaro subframe with Ron a while back and I couldn't be much more excited to see a 315 up front without having to widebody the fenders. Having said that, take your time in this final stage to nail it and make it live up to the high standard of products I have already purchased from Speedtech!

That was the mature side of me speaking above, the kid in me says "SHIP IT!!"

That's awesome Miz!

Blake is heading up the new suspension programs and is up to his eyeballs in pushing things along. You should see him, 14 cups of coffee a day, finger nails chewed off and I can't remember the last time he shaved or combed his hair. Lol! Seriously though, he is doing all he can to get things into full production as fast as possible, but we also want it to be RIGHT and do everything we're proposing so no short cuts are being taken in the name of making a quick buck. We're performance car and race fans too, so the product's performance and durability are at the top of our priority list. Stay tuned, it will be available soon...

When is the first gen sub frame going to be available?

At this point we're about roughly 3 months out. Things are moving along really well but it's hard to foresee complications that may arise in testing. The end result will be well worth the wait...

Mopar? E-body? Any chance? I know we are the underdog but.......

For the first gen sub... What are you doing for the front inner fenders? I assume the stock inner fenders will be too small.

Mopar- We've discussed having a universal front clip that can be grafted into most anything. Not sure how that will work with K members but it might be doable. Tyler did this with our current "Pro Touring Hot Rod Clip" which is the same suspension as our current Pro Touring 1st gen Camaro subframe. A couple links...

Jr- The best answer I have at this point is it depends on wheel and tire size and offset. For max tire size at the ride height we like, there's a chance you'll have to mod them a little. We will know better what we're up against there when we have the final prototype in the test car and can see how it does in hard cornering and things like turning into steep driveways. We've got a 315-30-18 Falken on an 11" wheel that we're building around so we can pass on accurate info when we get to that point.

They will be if you want to run a 315. that i CAN GAURENTEE! they will probably fit a 275. but it will all depend on what suspension strategy you are wanting to use, high travel low roll or low travel high roll,

...... Or like some cars I watch run at various events -- No travel No roll... LOL
