Finally bought a DSE subframe. Trying to get it ready for epoxy. Need some advice on what to use on the inside of the frame to prevent rust and what is the best way to get the material inside the subframe. Would leaving it in bare metal be ok?

Any advice and photo's would be appricated.

Anyone? I know I can just spray as much epoxy inside as possible.

Eastwood offers a kit for this I seem to recall. Perhaps call them. Tim john---

I would use a 3M spray wand on a schutz gun to spray epoxy inside the rails.

I had mine powdercoated locally. They have a small wand they stuck in as far as possible in all the openings. I have seen the eastwood wand, but have never tried it. Mine seems to be holding up pretty well. Been thru the rain (some very heavy) on roadtrips twice in the last 6 months. I had it on the lift tonight getting ready to go on the power tour. I used flashlight to look inside the frame and didnt see much of anything rust wise. Couple drips of rust from behind couple brackets. Just no way to get behind those.

I would not worry about it too much. Subframe will probably outlast all of us. Look at how many subframes are still around after 46 years.
