I know you guys have swapped out some old Detroit Rat in favor of some new school LS stuff...and have some things laying around that are totally collecting dust and taking up space in your shop. So...let me do you a favor and take that off your hands!
I'm running a first gen T56 behind a Mark IV 454 - and need to finish this things off. Right now, getting it going nice and smooth is the main goal - we can visit go fast parts later.

I think the only BBC stuff I have laying around is a camshaft and lifters, and I have a K&N Filter and Filter Lid. Probably not much help to you!

I may be interested in those heads. What condition?
Looks like the 290 would be the way to go on a flat top.

I have a set of billet valve covers and a circle track style air cleaner, both brand new. Your choice on a used 14 x 3 or 14 x 4 new air cleaner element. I'd let you have them if you covered the shipping...
If you have Wilwood brakes, I have some brake pads that I can send you as well.

Don't go too far (put any $$$) into checking out the 290 heads...just wondering what kind of shape their in - have to figure shipping to zip 61727 - and I think they are around 50 lbs each...right?
Fedex is a NO-go where I am...they are terrible.
Vegas...YES - I'd be down with those parts...Right now we just have stock sheet valve covers and no air cleaner...and I'll be running one on top like that. Will need to get an extreme drop down base to clear the hood - been there done that.
She has 781 heads right now - I guess they are the open chamber version of the 290 - Either would work...but when I took the motor apart ($200 craigslist buy) - one of the exhaust valves fell out - snapped off clean on the stem. Probably going to be some issues there. I haven't taken them to the machine shop yet. I'm hoping to get the frame out to sandblasting next week and get the block to the machine shop - and I'll know if anything I have can be salvaged - those 290s would be the next way to go.
The car has a 4:11 rear through a LT1 T56 - So...I'd like to be able to turn some RPM on the low side...and that would be rectangle port heads and stuff - but she wants a daily driver and that puts me back to the oval peanut ports...
Obviously, I'm seeing what we can scrap together on the motor for now - can always re-visit it...but right now it needs to run...not win any 1/4 mile grudge matches.

I don't have any 700R4 stuff to trade...and I only have the one console right now. I do have two sets of stock 69 Vette suspension parts - a power steering system complete (less the pump).

Oil pan is a big maybe. Would it be much trouble to measure it for depth at the lowest/deepest part from where it meets the block?
I have a pan - but it is a truck/RV pan and may be too deep for the Vette.

I have Yella terra rockers I believe they are 1.73 ratio.. need to double check
came off my Pontiac that has Roland racing heads
Guy who did the heads did the angles wrong on the studs
so put a shaft system on it now
Problem is I only have 14 as two broke due to the studs
Very pricey new $600-$800 plus
Will let them go for $80 and pay for the ride if in the lower 48 states

This sounds good - just need to figure out the exact part/part number so I can look up availability of individual ones to finish out the set. Don't know if these will fit under the valve covers yet then either.

I've got an hei with an accel cap/coil and some 8.8 wires, can't remember what they are off top of my head. Also, I'm 30min north of you in Normal. Got a 454 short block, few sets of heads, etc. I might be willing to get rid of.

Ok yella terra rockers are 1.7 one valve and
1.75 on the other. Each pair has a number on
the 1.75 side. I have 2,3,4,5,8 and one without
a number that I believe is #1 because I know
#7 is where I had a problem
Pic attached
Might have to get one more tie bar as it looks
Like one is ground by the original bs

I have a bell housing that allows you to mount a T-56 to a big or small block. Never used, in new condition.
I also have a set of L-88 aluminum heads, needs some repair, but a good aluminum welder can repair them.

I have the stock LT1 bellhousing that is my understanding I can bolt to the Mark IV BB and use the conversion flywheel - then keep all the other LT1 stuff...
I'm curious about what you have here...and also the heads.

Doesn't the LT1 bell housing put the transmission at a strange angle? The bell housing I have is specifically for a T-56. I also have an adapter where you can run a standard throw out bearing and fork/z bar set up with the T-56.
The heads are repairable. I have the springs, stainless valves and retainers.

No, but there is a difference between the lt1 and ls1 t56 that also involves the style of clutch and flywheel set up. Shoot me a pm with some prices

WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! These parts are AMAZING!!!!!! Now...if the rest of the car looked as nice! My wife is thrilled. Thank you!
Now...going to look at some other stuff on Friday...and thanks to everybody here that has been making me offers on stuff. I hope to sew up the main needs here quickly...
If all goes well the FRAME will be able to sit on four wheels in a few day, and then we jump full speed into the powerplant so I can slam the body back on and get to the other stuff.

Thanks for the checking on the rockers...the motor I bought from badbu68 came with a set of full rollers...not the type you have...but it looks like these will be good to go.
I've ordered a comp cam retro roller conversion...that will take care of the valvetrain. I have the closed chambered heads from badbu68 at the shop with the open chamber heads (781 castings) that I already head...(they are in bad bad shape) and am waiting to see if he can transfer the goodies from the 390 castings over...The pistons in the short block are domed and only work with open chambers. "IF" this comes together, it will make a nice neat package with the cam we selected. Full roller - no oil/zinc issues.
Still looking for:
high volume oil pump (if anybody had a new one in the box still)
Carb???? Probably going to go carb for now and switch to EFI later
short leg water pump accessory/pulley system
