To All:

Is there an obvious reason people don't run the Side Mount Headers & Baffled Tubes (Pipes) on their PT cars?

In the late Sixties they were not unusual on certain race cars, yet, I haven't seen any (So Far) on any of the, "Highlighted" rides, in the magazines.

I ran them on a car I had from that period a number of years ago, and with the baffles, they weren't overly loud and had a great sound.

The Race Cars had the Big Rubber all the way around and were lowered.

They looked Awesome!!

Any and all thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

tyoneal

I was wondering what happened to his car. Been along time since I heard anything about it. I guess the 302 "Boss" style stripes would have been a hint.

I think he popped up at the forums recently. But a while ago I believe he got alot of flack for his car and for putting in the Ford engine. He wasn't on the forums for a while after that.

I think he did a great job, and good for him for doing something different like that!

I like the side-pipes like that, but the stealth rocker look is cool too.
