We all watched that video together at the house last night and when my son saw the explosion clip stuck in there, he said "Dad, did Tom really just blow your engine up?" I said no, since it's sitting in the garage. We laughed out butts off down here after that and they replayed the video at least 20 times after that. They also liked the part where the hose on the F-2 outlet kept inflating like a balloon.
For all of you Lateral-g members, :lateral: if you ever want the engine of your dreams, Nelson Racing Engines is the place you want to go. During the whole process from start to finish, Tom and his team were committed to produce the best. I don't want to go into everything here, but if you want the details of what they do, email or PM me, it is astounding. These are handbuilt powerplants. No mass production. The best part is they will build you anything from a "muscle" stocker, to the extreme "streetable" combinations.
'Nuff Said. Thanks Tom and Nelson Racing Engines

It makes me feel some what...inadequate.

Great project! Bad Ass motor! What are you running for a rear tire? 225/70/14

Yeah, I was thinking some Wide Ovals like an F70-14.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. It should be a fun ride.
Will be a good stress test for the modified TKO-600 and DSE QuadraLink.
Hoosier and Goodyear have both hinted at track testing some tires with it. That would be cool.

Yeah Frank, the inside joke was Tom would always ask me what I wanted from the engine and I would say do whatever you can with pump gas, just don't blow it up !! Funny Guy.

Someone asked me if that rubber hose on the blower is supposed to expand like that. NO. The final setup uses reinforced silicone connectors. That was just the piece used on the dyno. Tom knew that. It's just what he had lying around his shop to use at the time. :)
