After too much work and money spent, I am going to test the waters on my 1970 Wagon. The basics:
Fresh roller cam 383 w/ vortec heads, fresh Art Carr 200r4 B@M floor shifter, new 2.5" exhaust with flowmasters and coated headers, alum radiator w/ dual fans, PS, Hydroboost, battery relocated to the back, Baers all around, global west upper and lower A-arms with QA1's up front, Global west lowers and adjustable uppers in the rear with Bilsteins, original 12 bolt - open 2.73 (I have a new 3.73 posi that can be purchased with the car). Recaro cloth seats, rewired headlights, will have either 18x10 / 18x8 TTs or Billet magnum 500s, original AC car with condenser installed, suitcase intact, and all other parts to complete (except hoses) including a Sanden compressor. OEM Cowl hood, dry as a bone southern CA car – under-carriage is exceptional, interior is very clean, original headliner is near perfect, body is very straight car appears to retain some original paint and waxes up very well. Car need minor tweaking (shifter/exhaust/suspension) to be ready for daily use, but runs/drives very well right now. Have original build sheet for the car and all receipts. Everyones got a first gen camaro - but a 70 wagon with AC this clean is a rare bird. Would be a great family truckster for the power tour... in Austin, TX.
I am going to shine her up soon and take some good pics - rainy day today... I have all receipts for the car and there is a ton of money in it. Asking $26,750 OBO, trades???
Thanks,
John
