A group of us were talking about this the other day. It would be sad to see the show end or change over something that's really not very big deal. It's not like he shot or raped somebody. Fist fights are how we used to settle things. Very manly.... LOL

They can end the misery of the US version any day IMHO... but the BBC version is just too good.

Agreed, I always hated the American version. They try way to hard to be funny and its pretty stale. The British version is great, funny and actually entertaining. I also used to watch the Fifth Gear show to.

I hope it doesn't end on some stupid technicality, and if it does, I HOPE! That a network is smart enough to grab all three of them and of course The Stig, and make a spin off of the show. It wouldn't be the same with him missing.

Be a man, fist fight it out, pick the loser up off the ground and talk it over a pint.

They hired the guy to be what he is. Now they're shocked? The show is their #1 draw by far because JC is (funny, a$$hole, jerk, silly, arrogant, whatever). They are getting more press than they could ever buy off this... I say fire the douchbag he punched and be done with it. Hot sammiches for everyone!

actually read a British editorial that suggested they replace the show's format with an ecofriendly feminist one. She was being 1000% honest. I $hit you not.

I'm sure it would be heavily subsidized with tax funds like every other bit of PC tripe foisted on the populations of most countries.

So a "fracas" is a punch? no, didn't google it.

My favorite show on tv by far. My wifey and daughter watch it with me too...

I like the American version, i'm not in love with it, but i like it, its good, waaaay watered down (too pc, they need to loosen up) which is probably what makes the BBC version the best of the best....I had read Clarkson actually got sued here for donating that 4th gen to a charity when they did that controversial southern episode...

The best thing that will happen out of this is that the three of them (May, Clarkson, and Hammond) all go to a different network and take the audience with them. A recent poll showed 89% of respondents WOULD NOT watch the show without Clarkson. I know I wouldn't.

It was a tirade and a fist fight --- he didn't kill somebody... or even injure them.
