This is a long shot but I'm looking for a enclosed car hauler. 20 - 24 feet long that can be towed behind a 1/2 ton truck or SUV. Nothing fancy just something to keep the weather off the car during transport.
Thanks Mark

Just a thought, but have you looked at racingjunk.com. There are a ton of drag race guys on there and there seems to be a large number of trailers for sale. My normal go-to sites are the usual ones, but I sometimes forget about racingjunk.

...someone forgot to roll the windows up after loading the car. It looks like it could rain.

New or used? If new I would suggest sticking with a name brand and making sure you get a V front. It helps with mileage by about 1-3mpg.
We picked up an extra tall (+8") 20' inclosed V-front trailer, with two 3,500lbs axles about 2 years ago from an outfit out of Florida called Hurricane Cargo. It was on the very cheap end and the quality was rather poor but it met our needs for 3 Karts and equipment. The company has since changed names to husky cargo or something like that. I think it was $6,300 with shipping from FL to Boston.
If you go new be careful with some of the southern outfits. There's a lot of fly by night stuff out there that's very iffy at best. My 2 cents for what it's worth is spend a little more and get a name brand.

If you are using a 1/2 ton truck I recommend getting a aluminum frame trailer it does cost more than a steel trailer but in the long run well worth it, Octane Trailers in western Michigan has a real nice 24' on special this month.

Very nice looking units. But at $14-15k, I'd have to be hauling a lot more than a couple times a year... or get GW to get his partner in crime to give me a loan...

Is a 26' too big for you Mark? I have a 26' enclosed Featherlite that I have been considering selling. It has about 5000 miles on it. I bought it new in 2009 and has been stored inside.
Thanks,
Tim
