Just wanted to give a shout out to Mark and Anthony Of SVS Muffler and Dyno. They are on Tower St in Sacramento and they performed a chassis dyno tune on my car. No parts changes and gained 47 ft/lbs of torque and 42 hp at a great price.
Thanks Guys

Those not running AMB transponders are not privy to that info. In your case you'ld need to get the car off the jack stands first.

$135/hr and it only took them two hours. Best $270 I ever spent.

Thanks Ron

How quickly you forget who saved you money by not trailering all the way to San Jose... :twak:

Ahhh.....so true. Sorry buddy and Thanks!!

Dave actually found this place for me. Was going to take it to Borelli's in San Jose and that would have been a 3 hour drive one way as opposed to the 30 minute drive.

Does Bob still work there? It's been a while since I've talked to him, but he always did good work.

Bob hasn't been there for a while. Too bad, I really like him.

The guys at SVS are pretty cool. My buddy Jay's shop is at the end of the building there, so I'm always seeing these guys. Super chill and good to work with.

I am pretty sure I was in Jay's shop talking to him a few years ago while a bunch of us were at SVS.... he was fabbin on some killer fully caged car some of some kind... wanna say a 240Z or something. Anyway, cool guys in both places and seemed to know what they were all doing.

Glad you had a good experience, G. Good horsepower return on your dollar for sure!

Jay did the mini-tub, exhaust, and installed the Fays 2 watts link in my car. He has some mad skills and is a hell of a fabricator.

Would like to see that Z on the track one of these days.

Just out of curiosity, does that Z-car get towed around by an early-50s rat-rod truck with a diesel engine? Is the Z black? If so, I may have seen this combo cruising through Folsom a weekend or two ago . . . very cool, applicable or not.

That would be the one. Love that truck. Shop looked packed with cars when I drove by. My guess is he's running out of room at the shop and was taking it home.

That's a dam good guess, but no. The Z isn't running at the moment and Jay's truck has a stroked small block.

Jay's shop is PACKED with cars, but despite this, he always somehow makes room for my dad and I. He even let us use his shop for the interview portion of the Optima Search For The Ultimate Street Car. I can't say enough great things about him.

I really want him to get the Z going again. That thing is NUTS!!! 383 stroker and a TON of tube chassis work. Full wide body and 315 rear tire.
