Hello my name is Aaron and I am originally from New Zealand but now live in Vancouver BC.
Now to the car...
I'm sure I will be the target of some jokes because of the lack of muscle in my car but here she is

1986 Toyota corolla I got with only 96000kms. It came originally with a single cam engine and auto transmission but I put in the 1600cc twin cam and 5speed.
I rebuilt the engine with forged pistons, big camshafts and titanium valvetrain and individual throttle bodies. Now she revs to more than 9000rpm and sounds great! It is to be a track day/ sometimes street car. I joined this forum to learn and maybe get some advice on suspension setup. Most people with Toyota's just go as low as they can and throw parts on their car without a lot of theory or testing and I want to drive circles around them!

Thanks everyone. It does run and drive! No videos yet, still working through my list before I can take it to the track. Hopefully Mission raceway on April 6th.
Still have to fix no brake vacuum due to camshaft duration, a few oil leaks, assemble rear end with LSD and 5.1 final drive, roll fenders, buy and mount seat and steering wheel and setup suspension.
Going to be busy...
FlameBroiled do you ever go to mission or the ridge?

That's awesome, my friends run a mk2 golf in chumpcar on the west coast. Martini Racers if you have seen it.
What is your suspension setup and how do you like it?

Actually, my friends maintain it about 3 Hours away, but it was built by some Nascar guys in Charlotte.

The car is basically bullet-proof. At Sebring, we finished in the Top 10 out of 96 Cars - all we did was put gas in it. The car was very neutral - I was expecting a bunch of Torque-Steer. It seems that most every picture going through Turns, I was picking up the Inside Rear Wheel.
