camaro/nova frame interchange

[inetquestion]

The frame on my 69 camaro isn't usable for a restoration due to rust pitting around the battery box. I was under the impression that a 68-74 nova frame was exactly the same on a 67-69 camaro until yesterday. A local shop that does restorations told me they are close but not 100% the same and I would have a hard time getting the body lines to match up. Can anyone confirm this?

I restored a 68 rs a few years ago. i had to find a new sub frame from a similar situation off a 69 nova and it bolted up just fine. As far as I know they are interchangeable.

I have one here for 150.00 with all the suspension attached, drums, etc if you are interested. I live outside Atlanta

I have always been told they are the same. However I have never had them side by side for a comparison.
