Motor looks nice. I like the sheet metal valve covers. Is it a stock rebuild or did you do some things to it?
Tell me more about your car.

Thanks Guys,
Here's the link w/the details on the car:

I'm going for a somewhat stock appearing engine compartment by painting everything the Olds blue, but it has Ebrock heads, a Torker, and the aftermarket VC's. Also the brake booster is smaller and the AC box has to be modified for the taller VCs. The solid roller cam w/the stud girdles made it impossible to use the stock VCs.

Here's the info on the valve covers and what they look like w/o the Olds blue paint....

those are some nice covers. It's nice that SBO & BBO can use the same valve covers and with a little work the same heads.

Sweet! Mine didn't come with an engine so I went BBC... Are you going with FI on that Olds?
I also liked the dash insert you made... I've included a pic of my dash insert for the fun of it.
Keep the pics and stories coming, I need inspiration! I haven't been able to work on mine in months!
Shiny Side Up!

Hi Bill,
No FI planned for mine, just a stock QJ. I like your dash insert too. Similar placement to my gauges. My "upgrade" has taken years so far....I hear you on how long it takes....I'll post pics as I make progress.

The years go by quickly, don't they! I was cleaning in my office the other day and ran into the title for mine... I bought it 13 years ago! :willy: Wow, this has taken a bit longer than I expected!
