I'm 67+ years old and building on my #1 Bucket List Dream-owning a Pro Street Car. I found one 80% complete and waiting for the seller to finish the rest.

One of the things that I want to change will be the mini spool in the Ford 9'' rear end with 35 spline axles and 4:30 gears to a locker or limited slip unit. What I can not find on the internet is the best general winner to go with. The car will see the drag strip some but most of the time it will be driven on surface streets. I've come upon some very good recommendations regarding the Eaton Detroit Truetrac that appears to be a good compromise but no mention as to the size of the motor using it or if this would be even a concern. If someone has used this unit-great. If not, I am very open to suggestions about any units some one has used.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The Wavetrack is a nice LSD. It's taking 1200rwhp so far from my other 88mm turbo ls9 rx7 with T56 magnum and not crying. Totally streetable. Launching with zero boost I've run 9.87@159mph.
