Jody: I will pay anything for a metal Lat-g sign to go in that spot to the right of the chevy service sign. How do I get one? Please?

Dave- Heres the pics of the cove I was telling you about, and the 2 bay next to the shop. Its real nice to get the compressor out of the shop, its a noisy SOB. No plans on the benches, saved some money built them myself simple 2x8 box with a 4x8 sheet of ply 3/4 thick ripped down the middle. Covers 2 benches 2'x8', the legs are 2x4s doubled up and cut to the top of the box lag bolted in. The shelves were an after thought, started running out of wall space, another sheet of ply and a couple 2x4s set at the height of my jack stands to fit under and enough room to fit the old engine crane.

Payton- On my way to FLA to visit my folks 7or 8 years ago, we stopped in moorseville to visit the Tuckers at DSE and fell in love with the place. Finally found a piece of property across the street from lake norman and built our dream home. I just finished a 30 year career in the corperate world and called it quits on Jersey. No more snow, lower cost of living, slow down life and enjoy. The pace up north is fast, the kids are coming into the job world and I don't have the patients for them, sold my rediculiously over priced old 1000sqft ranch 20 minutes outside NYC and built our dream home. This place is a car guys dream come true. I was walking around rousch's place in the race park looking at all the used stock car parts, with my tongue out drooling. Im just scratching the surface here, trying to figure out where everything is. Been chilling since thankgiving, probably look for a job in another month. something simple no more career crap, and im certainly not gonna deal with that traffic out on 77, that's nuts reminds me of jersey. Hope to run in to you some time.

Wayne, Greg, Thanks, Im trying to set it up nice its where I hang out, The stereo is bitchin, old JBL L-112s and a 200 watt amp, bought those speakers in 77 they still sound unbelievable. Wayne - don't know how you deal with the snow up there, its brutal. Im totally subscribed on your LSA build.

Greg - What did you end up doing to the floor in your newshop? BTW its killer!

Rich

Take a screen shot of the Lat-g logo to a local sign shop (that does vinyl) and have them/you apply it over sheet metal, cut-out and presto, instant garage signage.....
