Going to be at Thunderhill on the 14th with my CTS V. It should be a good day with great early season conditions. They will have the full five mile open that day.
Anyone else going?

Are these events "open" track day? with tech inspection?
I may be ready (for the USCA event) and would like a "play" day for tuning

Yes if you run group D it's basically an open track day. I'm not going to make this one and have now moved to racing on the 7th At Sonoma.

Looking at their site I don't think they do Gaetano, but they are ok with you bringing your own. What they do provide is instruction which I think is pretty cool.

I hear ya Ron but NASA also provides instruction in HPDE 1 for $195. Just sayin'......

Double the price since it's double the track I would guess.

Nevermind then... they are just overpriced.

Considering it takes basically twice the corner worker staff, additional recovery vehicles and cleanup workers, and probably an additional EMT team it makes sense.

That was my thinking, but then $300 for Buttonwillow? :headscratch:
I am curious what additional premium paid here gets you over the $100 to 150 most places charge for these days.
Maybe keeping the numbers down so a less crowded track?

It would certainly keep all those budget minded Miata drivers from clogging up the track. :)

Gawd you guys are cheap!
It's like this.
There are 2 nice identical '65 Mustang Fastbacks for sale.
1 is $25k from some guy who seems to be a straight shooter.
1 is $40k from Charley.
Which one do you buy? Well, we know which one WELD would buy...
I mean bought.
