Hope everyone had a great Christmas and safe New Year, we're back with bigger and better things in store for 2015, including a new employee to handle media updates.
Several projects are underway including our SEMA 2015 car: The Contender, and we have since completed several past projects and will be updating those threads shortly.
We will officially launch our product line this year and our online web store.
This thread will now be the "goto" place for our updates on what we're up to.
The HPI Customs (http://www.hpicustoms.com/) website has been updated as of yesterday and will also have new content as of later today. The website will be updated continually and on a regular basis with all of our builds and other information.
Hope everyone has a great year!
Tyler,
Was looking at your site. Do you have a products area? Was looking to see if you had anything new to offer

Lots of really good build pics - I love watching these builds come together.
Here is our system 3038-SHOW hydraulic brake assist system with optional machined finish accumulator and our MC8129 installed on the HPI Vicarious build:

We have these systems available in three different levels of preparation:

I don't know how in the world you are getting anything done up there right now, as I spoke with Dawn a few days ago and she said it was FORTY FIVE DEGREES BELOW ZERO up there - I didn't bother to ask if that was Celsius or Fahrenheit (seemingly irrelevant once you get that cold, right!? LOL)
There IS a difference - Thank you for choosing Hydratech!

If you guys want a system that works and wont fail you, we highly recommend Hydratech for your needs.
Thanks again for supplying us the great products to finish these builds.
And regarding questions about our products, we will be posting a "products" area on our website www.hpicustoms.com and we will soon be launching an actual website store front to make it easier to supply you with our high end products.
Yes when it is -45 below zero (in Celsius I might add), it does make things interesting. Its also another cold day today up here at the HPI Customs shop, -41 Celsius, but that's an average balmy Winter to a Canadian ;)

Our HPI Customs web store has officially launched as of now. We'll be updating and adding product routinely. As of right now, we have only our Signature Series products on there, but will soon be posting our entire product line that we offer.
You can still feel free to contact us by email or phone for anything regarding parts or service.
So head on over to the web store and take a look, and maybe even pick up an HPI Customs Mechanic crew shirt or beanie while there.

Just met up with Tyler today to go over things as my 69 Camaro build has finally started, and just wanted to say that both Tyler and Dawn have been totally awesome to work with! Even when I've been somewhat a pain in the arse haha! Keep up the good work guys, it's awesome to see a small Manitoba shop hanging with the big boys!

Well with the '69 Roadrunner off to upholstery, we now have space to take our '67 Fastback Mustang GT500 back into the shop. She just came back from upholstery, and looks AMAZING!
We also started cutting up the '71 Challenger. So take a look at her build thread update.
Custom "Cobra" snake embroidery, all custom leather interior and panels, including the trunk.

That thang' gotta HEMI?! She most certainly does. A 392 6.4L HEMI to be exact.
The '71 Challenger's heart all un-boxed to get prepped for upgrades and the eventual surgery.
Why a 392 and not the 426 that we had mentioned before? Well, no matter what MOPAR tells you, the 426 is NOT available to anyone... Which they will also not tell you till a lot of telephone tag and hair pulling to get the answer out of them. So, we have to give a HUGE shout out and THANK YOU to Cleveland Power and Performance for yet ANOTHER clean, pristine engine for one of our builds. If you need anything from them, be sure to check them out and tell them HPI Customs from Canada sent you.

So what have we been up to this week, as you've noticed we haven't posted much, well we've been in a mad dash to the World of Wheels car show this weekend. It's basically Canada's mini version of SEMA in a way.
We've had the '52 Chevy "Vicarious" in the shop now since Monday getting her prepped for the show, and our '69 Roadrunner has not been forgotten as she has also been getting work done to her also, namely the interior completion for the show.
So we'll be sure to take a lot of photos of our booth and the vehicles at the show and have those up on Monday next week, including a video or two for the YouTube channel.

On the fab table, is there a top going on it? What was the logic behind the double rail 2x4 as opposed to a 4x4, serious question because I like it.
