So this may not be the right sub forum to post this, but I really am curious if anyone has done these. I realllly reallyyy like the idea of converting the original AM radio in my 65 fastback to a full blown AM/FM, bluetooth capable radio with even aux ports! I think this idea is badass since it keeps the radio looking 100% factory and old school, except it has all the bells and whistles of a modern day car radio. I'm a guy that likes old, but slightly updated interiors with little things here and there, but nothing that really jumps out at you. I am just wondering if anyone has sent their radios off to be converted and who they used, and of course, if they are happy with the result?? I'm just scared to spend all the money and have the function or sound quality be crappy. Anyone with any input?? Thanks all!

If you don't find an answer, I would check with these guys:

They make awesome reproductions of originals with modern internals and bluetooth capability. I don't know if they do Mustang units yet, but they probably will.

i have been really close to pulling the trigger with one of these companies, but I just don't know who to go with. They all seem to have the same features, but I am just concerned about quality and user friendliness. Its pretty much come down to www.joesclassiccarradio.com or www.turnswitch.com

Here is another vote for "Turnswitch.com" Excellent quality, made in USA, super nice to work with, fast turn around, etc...

I would recommend Steve at Vintage Auto Radio.....I used Turnswitch years ago and had some issues......Steve has retro'd six or seven radios for me without any issues........Just my $.02

I do not have personal experience with this radio company but MCB always has great deals and it looks like they offer want you are looking for.
