Is this considered successful & beat the record? Or have to land on wheels to be successful? What is/was record before this? Was it the jump at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway before the Indy 500 a few years ago?

That's my question too. You know he's a rally car driver and all...but if you're not racing in an event and attempting something of such magnitude, why isn't he wearing a full face helmet? and a Hans device? Either way, dude has some balls and is lucky!

He let off and the weight of the tire caused the car to rotate forward...not good in this situation.

I am sure he was thinking "what could possibly go wrong" lol "HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS" COMES TO MIND.. Kudos for him doing it!!

And why do the emergency crews always "RUN" to the sites....take emergence vehicles with equipment like fire extinguishers.
You ever time the emergency crews at NHRA events? When there was a Top Fuel crash up at Sonoma the fire truck and safety guys where there 11 seconds after the mess came to a complete stop.
Well technically he did jump it, no one said anything about landing it. :trophy-1302:
