http://www.musclecaroftheweek.com - What starts off looking like a plain-Jane 1973 Camaro is really a pretty rare Z/28 with the optional stripe and wing delete option. Why would you delete the iconic stripes and wing from a Z/28? We're not sure, but this nearly all-original 48,000 mile survivor was ordered this way. Other features include the original blue vinyl top and "natural" colored vinyl interior. The 350 / 4-speed manual combo makes this car fun to drive, even if power levels were slipping by 1973. It's an unusual car, and one of the more sedate Muscle Cars in the Brothers Collection!

" Rare " doesn't necessarily mean desirable....this Fbody reminds me of the guy proudly displaying his " Rare " 1965 Vette with the 250HP 327 and 3 speed manual transmission.....Uhhhhh OK.......

You do have a point. However, this is a Real Z28. That alone makes it desirable as there are a lot of clones out there. The deleted items was probably someone paying cash and needed to save money. Also, even though hard to believe, the original may have liked the looked with no spoiler and hated stripes....:confused18:

I feel this car would bring big dollars as being an odd ball Z28
