Greg was an awesome host this last week and weekend. Beyond the support for Mark Stielows car he was providing help for anyone at the race that needed it (and there were several). Plus, he had food and water available during the OUSCI event all weekend. And the shade under the awning and rooftop views of the track from his trailer were very appreciated. If he only had a big screen TV on the side of his trailer it would have been perfect!
In all seriousness, Greg is an incredibly generous guy, and just wanted to say thanks for all he does for this community. He has been doing this for a long time, and doesn't receive the recognition he deserves in my opinion.

Agree 100% Jody! More often the not car people are just good people right of the gate. We all have the drive, passion and comarderie in this hobby were obsessed with. Some levels are higher than than others but at the end of the day it's about the people! Greg's hospitality has always been second to none and always appreciated! Thanks Greg!!

And for good reason. If his head gets any bigger he's going to have to wear a hans device every where he goes just so he can carry the weight of his head.

Greg and Seig,
My Dad said he had a great time.
Thanks for being our support truck for the weekend. It made the event 100 times better. Great people, food, support and just a comfortable place to hang out between events.
Thanks again.

Only next year Greg should be towing a C7R for Mark to run...
Charley can be the team owner, Greg the Crew Chief... That seems to be where this whole OUSCI deal is heading. I'm sure Mark knows some of the Pratt & Miller guys

Another thing that has always amazed me is how many times I've noticed in posts, FB, instagram, wherever from a wide variety of people... "I was talking to Greg Weld the other day...." or "Greg, I was going to call you the other day to ask you about..." or "Sorry Greg... I got your voicemail but hadn't called you back."
Greg even took the time to stop by my old shop earlier this year with Adrienne and the Roadster while in town for GoodGuys just to say Hi and check out my projects.
People like this are what make Lateral-G a community and not just a message board!
Carry on....
I have many things to say but I'll be quit!:action-smiley-027: :D XOXOXO:trophy-1302:

Totally agree.
Therefore that is why I didn't mention the night of the BBQ that MAYBE there was SLIGHT chance that a few of the hamburgers ACCIDENTLY got dropped on the ground and MAYBE Steve or Kevin MIGHT have been there to HELP pick them up. With their mouths.
(hehehehehe Just kidding. They used their hands.)

After the L/28 Camaro broke on Saturday Greg was nice enough to let my brother and Chris Jacobs us the lift in his trailer so they could pull the tranny and fix it.
Thanks again Greg.

WELCOME!! I was shocked that when we (Sieg and I) left to go fetch HellFire and came back around 8:30PM -- the guys were wrapping up the Throwout bearing swap and bleeding it! HOLY COW those guys were all over that job!!
I'm pretty sure it was going to be a LOT easier on the lift than rolling around on the ground -- and I was HAPPY to lend that to them! Trust me -- I've been there and done that!
