Hope someone can help on leads for a timing cover that will clear a double row timing chain. My engine is an LS3. The current stock cover has seen better days

Comp Cams claim that theirs does but a review on Summit, says they had to grind it also.

thanks

I saw a video on you tube that they only touch in a few spots and you can check them and grind a few small spots to make them work.
Hamburger's used to make a 2 piece front cover not sure if they still do or how much $$.

I'm aware I can grind the factory cover, but mines toast. So looking for some more bling factor also.
Hamburger do still make them, around $400. This is looking like the most likely.

I thought there would have been someone who used a double row. Further reading seems to say timing chain is not a problem of LS engines, but this engine was already fitted with the double.

thanks for your input.

It's an open container violation.
