View Full Version : Want to move fuel filler to rear panel of 69 camaro.

I am thinking about moving the fuel tank filler neck from under license plate on 69 Camaro up to the rear panel, I will have to cut filler neck and obviously reroute that setup. I am just curious if anyone has any positive or negative feedback on this. I have seen some pretty sweet billet fuel doors. Just looking for some info before I go do something I shouldn't.
Thanks

Yup ... fairly easy
I used the Ridetech filler with the neck

Combined with a 68' gas tank, alterations to the trunk floor, wiped out the trunk lock and went with an electric popper ...

Looks good man,, I have the electric popper sitting in the shop, Seems like such a better way for fueling. The looks are killer to..

Thanks for the pictures, I have been looking at the work on that car. Ton of labor just on the back. It is definitely one of my favorites. Nice job.
