Sorry for the total n00b question, but searching did not provide definitive answers.

I'm trailering to Thill tomorrow. What are the best tie down points for a first gen with a 12 bolt and leaf springs?

There are two holes in the front subframe - one on the bottom near the radiator and one on the side near the sway bar mount - are either of those fair game up front? Or do people use the upper control arms (mine are GW tubular) - I hate using suspension parts to strap down due to risk of knocking out alignment.

For the rear, do I just wrap around the 12 bolt on each side between the pumpkin and leaf springs? Or is there a location on the body for a hook that I missed?

Thanks,
Jason

Street car...

I wrap around the rear axle housing and use the front frame under the oil pan (If it's accessible) or factory tie down points and I always cross the front and rear tie downs

Race car...

I wrap around the rear axle housing and welded rings/hooks to the front frame Never had an issue and I always cross the front and rear tie downs
