Looking for a CF or fiberglass planter box SS hood. Quality is a must. Anvil won't do it.
Thanks in advance Dave

As far as Fiberglass, VFN, Glasstek come to mind. Both are in IL. But I don't think they make it but I'm sure they would for the :G-Dub:
As for carbon, if you are looking to dump BIG :G-Dub: just get in touch with Mark Steilow, he had is own made (not what you looking for) but he might be able to to help you with who made his molds $2-3K just for the molds if I remember correctly then $2k for the hood itself. His hood fits really good and is full carbon.

What do you mean by a planter box, one that accepts ice cube trays?

Hey Ron, I've just heard of them referred to as plantar (planter) box hoods.
I guess the chrome looking inserts look like a planting box.

Colorado I'm not aware of anyone that makes that style as a standard catalogue part.
It would take some balls, but you could get a carbon or FG hood and some Eddie Motorsports ice cube trays and cut the hood to fit. Maybe even bond a lower shelf so they sit somewhat flush. I would do a mock up on a FG hood before attempting on an expensive carbon piece, but a competent shop could do it.
I'd love to see it ...

Big Kahoonies,,, First thing to my mind with carbon fiber and the ice cube trays would be to use panel bond, to make a inside piece to mount ice cube trays to, Drink after the project and not before!

I picked up a fiberglass SS hood on craigslist for $80. Its hanging in my rafters at the moment... but with a quick search it looks like the one from US Body.
