Hi there-

Brand new to old school cars, but not new to fast cars (tracked my Ariel Atom at Laguna Seca yesterday).

I have a 1969 camaro on the way that needs windshield trim. Is that easy for me to install without specialty tools, or does it take an experienced installer?

I'm wondering if I want to delay delivery of the car in order to get trim installed.

Also, are there any sponsors here I can support? I need a few small things like rear marker light lenses as well.

Thanks,
Jason

Better to use restored original trim than new reproduction. You can usually find some on eBay. I am guessing you can find an installation video on YouTube. I have found the clips sold by Steve's Camaros to be the best.

Don't be afraid to install it yourself.

you will need a tool to remove the old trim. I have heard the CHQ brand fits ok, but I have always tried to find and use original trim.
