Hello everyone,
I have been lurking on Lateral-G and Pro touring for about 6 years. I figure its time to man up and start posting. My recent car was purchased off of Pro touring: http://www.pro-touring.com/threads/103908-1970-Camaro-with-a-Lateral-Dynamics-3-link-(Roller)?highlight=lateral+g+3+link .
I recently made a deal with garickman on this site for this engine and his tranny setup. http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=47130.
I am looking for paint color help. I am going to change the color of the car, but keep the engine the same color. Any suggestions on body/ stripe colors would be appreciated. Car goes for paint in November. Before I bought the engine my colors I was searching was Silver, Grey, Blue and Prowler orange.
Thanks all for any help.

Welcome to the site. You have a great combo going for you.
Can't go wrong with Silver or a form of blue.
Powder blue and black stripes was my favorite 70 Z-28 look.

Welcome Bob! I've seen that car in person after it left Cali and it's a great canvas for the right owner to start building. The motor will be a monster as well.
Keep posting and attach lots of pics!

Welcome to the site, Bob. I think you could possibly do the powder blue like Jody mentioned. Or, you could go Lucerne Blue with black. Lucerne Blue was the blue the 70-72 Trans Ams were painted. I definitely would choose a lighter, contrasting blue. That's a fantastic rear suspension in the car. Keep us informed on the build. I can't wait to see this in person. It'll be a big hit at Cars and Caffeine in Alpharetta.

Welcome to the site Bob! Looks like you have a killer combo. Cortez silver or Mercedes Iridium Silver would make a good contrast to that kick a$$ blue engine. Or, match the body to the engine color, add some carbon fiber and accent graphics with a contrasting pin strip and a little chrome for a balanced look throughout the entire car. Lookin forward to whatever you decide.

Wow awesome looking starter car and killer powerplant! I'd say match the blue to the body and do carbon accents as has been mentioned. I think it'd look good with carbon spoiler and front splitter. Maybe some carbon body panels with stripes left in raw carbon? Be a very cool car!
