I've been wanting to build a 3 link suspension for my lightning for a while now, I've done a lot of reading and research on here and other forums and have everything planed out on how I want to build it. I'm just unsure of what size tubing to use. The truck weighs around 4600 pounds and makes 700lbs of torque at the wheels. It will see some drag strip use. I'm wanting something that handles well on the street and road course but also will be better than leaf springs at the drag strip.
If anyone could give me advice on what size and thickness of tubing to use that would be great. Thanks

You should be fine with 1.500 .250 wall (1.00 in ID x 1.500 in OD) DOM.

Ballistic fabrication sells weld in 3/4" tube adapters.

I would run the same for the upper link. 1.250" .120 wall has served us well in the past.

Vertical seperation is something to think about. But, sounds like Vince has you covered though.
