Good ones, bad ones, how much is too much...
It looks like I need 3/4" per side on the back of the wife's mustang to make everything happy. Never used them before and I need a bit of schooling.
Thanks

I have used up to 1" but with no issues but over that I would recommend a studded wheel adapter.

Thanks Vince, I'll look at Jegs again and get something coming.

You'll need longer studs with 3/4" spacer. Or extended shank lug nuts IF your wheel will accept them.
I have 2 thin spacers in the back on my car. I also have 1" spacers on my truck. No Problems.

I'll be running 3" studs so should be ok there.
I was wondering about stacking shims, if 3/4" wasn't enough could I run another 1/8". I actually found a guy in the neighborhood that makes spacers and will do what ever size is needed, bonus!

No problem with stacking. You lose nothing in clamping force no matter how many shims are there.
