Would just buy them but being its a holiday I am sol
Are the flex plate bolts that came on the crate motor the same used on a manual flywheel?
I read they leak if you don't use new every time? Any sealant advice?

Sorry I missed this, and it's probably too late. I just pulled my flywheel over the weekend and ordered new ARP bolts.
The flywheel bolts are a different part number than the flexplate bolts, and have a different head to them. The flexplate bolts are considerably shorter (.880") than the flywheel bolts (1.5"). GM bolts are TTY (torque to yield) and are not supposed to be re-used. I used arp lube on the threads and loctite blue under the head of the bolt.

Yup, my mistake. I was looking at my ARP pressure plate bolt length which is 1.5".
Both the flywheel and flexplate bolts are M11x1.5x880". Based on the link you provided GM uses the same bolt for each, whereas ARP uses the same bolt length but a different bolt head (1/2" for the flywheel and 3/4" for the flexplate)

Agreed. I just replaced my disk a couple days ago, and would rather not ever do that again in my driveway!
