I am removing the auto from my 69 camaro and will be putting a rebuild Muncie in its place and I just had a question about what clutch and flywheel i should be using. Currently I have a 383, has a 10066036 casting so it has the 2 piece seal. So what I am looking at is the McLeod Clutch Kit (75224 (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mcl-75224/overview/year/1969/make/chevrolet/model/camaro)) and a ACT flywheel (600470 (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/acl-600470/overview/year/1969/make/chevrolet/model/camaro)). Then for bell housing i found this 621 (http://www.ss396.com/camaro/FBH-621K.html). So before i order these like i said i wanted to make sure it would work, first time doing this so i want to try and minimize my possible future problems, or if another product would be recommended. Also does anyone had any good 4th of july sales seeing as i still have to order the pedals and all that good stuff as well. :ups:
Thanks in advance for the help and have a safe Holiday. :popcorn2: :weld:

Your motor is INTERNALLY BALANCED..... So that's what you need to be sure of as far as rotating parts -- that they work with INTERNALLY BALANCED engines.
Single rear seal engine SBC's are EXTERNALLY balanced.
