This winter I installed vintage air on my car. Its a gen IV system with there front runner system, it was very easy to install and so far I am very happy with it. I am also using a Ron Francis relay kit to control the fan via the temp and the ac. I am just having one problem with it and that is the ac will not kick the fan on when it is needed. Everything on the trinary switch seems to wire up correctly but I can not figure out why it will not kick the fan on. Talked to vintage air and they said that the head pressure had to be 254. I am going to talk to the man who charged my system but I pretty sure that it was over 254. Can anybody give me some ideas of what could be wrong and where to start checking. Thanks

Can you just jumper those two poles on the pressure switch? That will at least tell you if all the wiring is working. Then you can whittle down the problem to the switch or the pressure.

I fought with this same issue and I now wire my fan to come on when the compressor is on. This is a simple mod and works well for me. Downside is that the fan runs more often than needed but I decided to make the tradeoff for the sake of reliable A/C operation.
