Sweet!!! Pahrump was a PITA to get out and back.... and many people have flights out of LV etc so this will make it much easier for them.

I have to amend this ---- I thought it was a real racetrack not a parking lot.....

I agree, great move in my opinion. Spring Valley is a great track, but the location sucked.

Not much on the north end of Vegas (i live 6 miles from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway). Still 1/2 hour to the strip, on a very good traffic day -- about an hour to Pahrump. Track is flat, unimaginative, non-technical. No real facilities, no seating, but lots of parking. Spring Mountain is a much better track (for racing), but they have always had issues with parking. Just my observations.

Can someone educate me on what tools/products are required to put together the video and overlay as in this video? Cool stuff!

Look into a product (I just bought one) called SMARTYCAM HD

They even offer "harnesses" that will plug into your OBD II and pick up the info such as throttle position etc.

I haven't used mine yet - but bought it and the harness interface for the Lotus and will use it at Sonoma to record just how slow Sieg really is.

That's all.

I'm certain that if you wrote to Cam and Jimi they'd switch it back just for you.

All I want is space to park my truck - so make sure you include that in your letter.

It should make for a more creative autocross due to space. Other than that, it's like going from the country club to the muni.

After watching that video -- that was about as interesting as watching paint dry. I just experienced watching that today so it's fresh in my mind. :>)
