Is there an easy way to figure out paypal? Send/collect money? I'm new to it and looking for guidance...

Thanks

Best move for me!!....sign up....verify a credit card and bank account...funny how they verify your checking account...put in #'s...they will tell u to check your account and look for "2" deposits from them for 1 cent to 99 cents...sign back in and u list the 2 deposits...walaaaa.....VERIFIED....What sold me 10 years ago?.....your accounts are with them..not every backyard guy or mega-store u trade with..
As far as sending or getting paid...go to their menu for either and steps are simple...need a paypal account for the person u are paying or sending an invoice to for payment..easy....

As far as u selling something and paying fees for takin paypal....just adjust
your pricing for the item to reflect it.....I would rather have the guaranteed money and ship immediately than the wait for payment and shipping....the fees are worth it for me....JMHO....jim

I wish the was another option other than PayPal! I hate that they sometimes Hold your money for up to 30 Days on eBay Sales (while they are making money on the Interest as the money sits in their account). Plus they take 3% from you.

Thievery, I say!

Never had them hold my money. The 2.9% is a bummer, but credit cards charge the same.

They've held my money on 3 Different occasions! This is after being on eBay for over 10 Years & Hundreds of Transaction & all Positive Feedbacks

Maybe because of my "peon" sales (less than a 100k in 9-10 years) on ebay but what reason do they give for holding money...or will they tell u?? Just curious...I'm like Jody ...never seen that...Jim

I've had paypal held my money as well after a couple of sales on ebay. Their reason was to make sure that the merchandise got shipped/delivered for buyer protection. That's fine and dandy but I'd like to see the protection goes both ways as well. Recent policy changes in ebay/paypal had been geared exclusively toward buyer protection.

If paypal has a dispute with vendor A (that you bought parts/labor) that's on going, they hold the money until vendor A, settles the dispute with paypal, then they will release funds.

Basically they hold your money hostage to leverage that vendor. I've been waiting on a credit since January. Not all credit card merchants stand behind their card members (MC)
