Hey Guys, I have a problem. I have a vapor issue coming from my fuel cell in my Nova. I park the car in the carage and after driving it the garage smells of fuel really bad for about a week. Its so bad it gets into our house as well. (wifes not happy about that) currently the cell is vented to atmosphere but is there a way to keep it vented but get rid of the vapor smell? Charcoal cannister like the oems? or something? Any help with this would be appreicated. Im kinda concerned from a safety stand point too

Not 100% sure if this will work for your fuel cell but II Much Fabrication offers several vents.

I think the stink is coming from somewhere other than the vent. Plenty of old cars have fuel tanks that are vented to atmosphere and do not stink badly. I drive my 68 daily and do not have a real notable fuel smell in the garage.

I would plug off the vent after parked in the garage and see if the stink is still there.

I have an aluminum cell with an open line to atmosphere. I've had this issue since I replaced my stock tank with it
