Hello all! I have been a member for a couple of weeks now, but I have not had any pictures of my car to give it a proper introduction.

My car was built as a father and son project (when I was 16) 7 years ago, on a limited budget, hence the 15" Cragers and drum brakes. Last year I graduated from the University of Arizona with a mechanical engineering degree, and now that I have the time and money I have decided it is time to make the PT leap. I recently installed a aluminum radiator from Ron Davis, and converted the tired powerglide to a 700R4. I ordered a set of Baer brakes, and those arrived last week (Awesome!!). I am converting from drums to discs at all 4's, I opted for 13" two-piece rotors at each corner. Next on the list as far as parts, is going to be wheels and tires (Intro Vista II-5 wheels), and suspension. I am not sure where to go with the suspension though, so anyone out there please feel free to provide some suggetions. Well I don't want to drag on so I will end here.

Thank you Scott and everyone else for making this such a fantastic site!

Beautiful car. There's a lot of good info here, and a good suspension thread going in the pro touring section of Chevelles.com

I would definitely recommend reading the above link to the thread in chevelle tech lists all the best options and the pros and cons of each for the front suspension. Also try and do a search to find the best option for rear suspension. As a basic rule of thumb try and avoid polyurethane bushings in the rear as they cause binding in the C4L suspension. That however is only the tip of the iceberg. Good luck and I like the ride should turn out nice with all the upgrades.
