There aren't too many classic builder, purist, original, etc types around here. Any that find this site probably quickly leave in disgust

A couple of years ago I brought home a totally rust free 65 GTO that had been taken apart and kept in storage since the mid eighties. It is a two owner black plate car and is very complete except for the missing headliner and carpet. The next time this pontiac sees the road it will look stock except for the Budnicks with 275-18s on the front and 335s tucked inside the mini tubs on the back.I have a L76 with a 6l80e,complete Detroit Speed kit 3 for the front and the back will be fitted with a new 12 bolt 4 bar triangulated diff.Top it off with 13 inch Willwoods and a set of 2010 challenger buckets and that should get the purists ready to walk away in complete disgust.this car was sitting around for a long time for someone to step up to the plate and restore it and it wasnt going to happen, the world must have enough original 65s I guess so now its the for the pro-tour crowd to watch another classic get beat on worse the a red headed step child.
