I caught this set of RB3Cs, as they came out of the assembly area recently. I was struck by the Transparent Smoke finish and the optional exposed hardware. The details in this wheel are very nice. Given the narrow outer, this particular set was probably destined for a modern high-offset fitment, but I thought it might give you some ideas for your next wheel project.

Well it started off as a "Black Friday" sale, so what has now become known as the "Customer Appreciation Sale" is traditionally in mid November. Always subject to change, of course.

Because those "spokes" are at an angle, could it help with brake cooling? sort of like a jet turbine?

Well from a purely aesthetic standpoint, that directional turbine concept is exactly what we were going for. But I would be hesitant to speculate if the blade effect is measurable.

However, Bob Knoerzer's Nissan GT-R did finish in third place overall at last week's One Lap of America race on the one piece forged monoblock version of this wheel, the RB1.

Boy, I sure would love a set of these in this finish with the centerlock option. Trust and believe, if and when I'm in the market for a new wheel...this is gonna be it.:trophy-1302:

Those are what I'm looking forward to. Hopefully some has a sale soon.
November too long to wait.
