I'm running a DSE ps pump and there 600 steering box along with there hose kit and the problem that i am running into is that i can not get the return fitting at the pump to seal. I put the 1/4NPT to 6AN fitting in the pump tank this winter and it is working great no leaks but I can not get the hose fitting to work. I was wondering if anybody might be able to tell me what fitting they are using. The 6AN fitting i have now seems like it might be a little to small for the hose and before i order another fitting i wanted to see what you guys are running. I've called DSE but they have not really been able to help me.

Richard, You may have this complete but if not, the return hose in the DSE kit is actually slightly larger than a -6 hose. The pressure hose is a true -6 size. To use an off the shelf hose kit, you can't put a -6 hose end on the return side. They have a bent 90-degree tube that will allow you to use your current hose kit and the adapter in the reservoir. Here is a link to the fitting: http://www.detroitspeed.com/Steering/091602-7-6-90-bent-tube-return-hose.html#7-6-90-bent-tube-return-hose.html Hope this helps. Mark

Thanks for the information, as many times as i have been on there web page I had never seen that fitting. I have about went crazy trying to find something that would fit.:bang: I had evan talked to DSE and they had not said a thing about it. I found a fitting made by fragola and it is working so far and apears not to be leaking. If it does start back though i will order the tube. Thanks alot for the help.
