What do you guys use/recommendation on wheel protectant for brushed aluminum wheel finish? My Budnik wheels finally have tires mounted and I want to protect the finish. I have Mother's aluminum/chrome polish/protectant. I used a small amount on the back side and had a hard time wiping it off.

Look into coatings such as opti-coat, cquartz and others. Coating your wheels will make cleaning and maintaining a breeze.

Thanks for the tips. Any real world experience with opti-coat? I found some threads over autogeek forum, and nothing but positive reviews.

Is the brushed surface clear coated? If so, Wheel Wax works well or any automotive wax will work. If not clear coated than do not put anything on it as it will embed into the brushed aluminum surface and stain.
Hope this helps!

It's not clear coated. It's too late to have it clear coated as tires are mounted so I'm hoping to have something on them to reduce maintenance. My understanding is opti coat is some form of clear coating that you wipe/airbrushed on.
