Hey Fellas, I'm a Japanese sports car freak. I own a 2004 STi. BUT I never seemed to erase from my memory the day my uncle picked me up in a 1969 Camaro when I was 4 years old. Well, neither did my uncle. He finally found a 1968 Camaro project car and now I seem to be getting the Muscle Car fever too.

Welcome. I know that when you're out in the Camaro, it'll be a slightly different kind of fun than the STi. Both nice cars, by the way. Where ya from?

I live on Long Island NY. I love the STi but I am seriously thinking of getting a 68 Camaro.
Bugger I take it you have a Camaro?

I do. I have a '77 I'm supposedly working on. It should be presentable in the next 30 years or so.....

Welcome to the site Paul. There are a few of us Long Islanders here.
Welcome aboard, Paul. Just think how fun the 68 will be to drive when you get it to handle like the STI.

Hi Paul,
Not sure on the Camaro clubs, but there are a lot of shows/cruises to go to. Out here there is a Friday night get together on Peconic bay that starts up this weekend. I hope to make it there this week. What part of the Island do you live?

Hey I'm ready to trade the STi for a restored 68 Camaro. Let me know!
Jim, I live in Holtsville exit 62 on the LIE. Can you give me some info on this up coming show/meet? I would love to make it out.

I have a close friend here in MA that is interested in selling his pristene Black/black/black 68 SS with silver stripes and 4 speed. It's very stock looking but has a new hi-po 454 in it. I can PM you with pics and details if you're interested. I think he's asking $40K.
