Hello guys. I am new at this forum and new to this kind of "hobby" i bought myself a 67 camaro late last year. Have some minor issues here and there. But today i had a look under the engine to find an oil leak , when i saw that where the starter is installed there is a big gap on to the bellhouse. Im quite sure that this shouldent be like this. But what should i do to cover up this hole again ?
Ill see if i can get a picture tomorrow

Looks like an after market starter that's smaller than stock. The stock starter fills a majority of that space. Probably not any thing missing, just the way it was made.

Yep he's right.
That piece of tin with the hole is the inspection cover. You should be ok.
