I want to know what my options are for a 3" exhaust for a 68 Camaro. The car has a LSX motor, DSE Quadralink rear with a ford 9" and a ricks tank. Is my only option a custom exhaust? Any input would be great. Thanks

You'll definitely have to have a fabrication or muffler shop put something together for you - nothing out of the ordinary though. With the Rick's tank you have plenty of room back there to route pipes out the back if you want.

Thanks guys! Sieg I did see the spintech side exhaust. I am wondering if it takes away from ground clearance at all. Do you have any experience with them?

Here is link showing a custom 3" mandrel bent exhaust. This is from Camaro XV thread. More cost than Spintech kit, but it is rather tucked up nicely. http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=39584&page=41 (http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=39584&page=41)

We run them tight out the back.

Thanks guys, I'm going to start chatting with some local shops on what they can do. Any ideas of good exhaust shops in or near Northern VA?

Most of the exhaust shop do compression bent, so your tailpipes will be around 2". So, you need to locate a fabrication shop that can do mandrel bent. I just google this and found this company. I doubt if you find a company close. http://www.adrenalineautoworks.com/pages.php?pid=2
