Whats every body use for body bushings ?? I see dse has got them in drop sizes, I 've got a wayne Due c-4 clip and I'm waiting to hear back from him but thought I'd ask here . I have heard poeple say the lower you go the harder it is to fit headers and ect. ?? I want the car low but I don't too many problems.
Thanks for your input

On a wayne due sub-frame i don't think you will run into any troubles with shorter sub-frame mounts. The problem you usually run into is the headers hitting the steering box, on a wayne due frame there is no steering box to hit. One of my camaro's has a wayne due sub-frame with solid lowering ( i believe there 1/2 lowered) mounts, the headers clear with no ploblems. Good luck Tim

I used the DSE 1/2" lowering body mounts and had to raise the trans tunnel to clear the T56...not sure about front sheet metal yet as I'm just at that point...but it appears the fenders might have to be shimmed up off the core support a little to get everything to line up....I would say however that I wouldn't use the lowering mounts again, just not worth the trouble. Next time I will use DSE's regular height mount...BTW they are a Very nice product!

Since both the steering box and engine are mounted to the frame and not the body I don't see how this has anything to do with his question...header clearance will always be the same. But yes using a rack does make for some nice clearance!!
